Designer Suits – Important Checklist for Choosing the Mens Suits

1. Check collar position; it should be smooth and close to the back and sides of neck.
2. Firm unbroken shoulder line from neck to shoulder point
3. Lapels and neck line hold close to the chest at all times
4. Straight line with no wrinkles from shoulder to lower edge of the coat–back and front
5. Elegant and smooth fit through the body of the coat, should not be noticeably uncomfortable as you move about. No strain as coat is buttoned
6. The length of coat should be long enough to cover the seat of the trousers.
7. Check armholes, should be comfortbaly large, but not so deep that the coat lifts noticeably as you reach
8. Sleeves tapered, comfortably wide, but never full enough to cause unsightly wrinkles.
Check list for the trousers
1. Your trousers should hang straight, with creases stright up and down front and back. Creases follow straight of goods.
2. Easy and comfortable seat fullness, without sagginess
3. Should be no wrinkles that draw through the crotch below the seat or against the front of the legs as you stand or walk
4. Bottom edges of trousers shoule be finished properly so they either have one slight break at the instep, or so the cuff edges barely touch the shoes. A deep break makes trousers look too large. The trouser legs shoule not be too long, so they do not rub against the shoes.
Apart from these steps, it is very important for you to understand which cut and style suits you the best. Make sure you compare different styles, cut, fabric and fittings before you make a purchase.
